NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Members of the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office and the Wilmington Fire Department hosted a fundraiser to raise money to help Special Olympics North Carolina.

They were stationed on top of the roof of the Chick-fil-A restaurant on Oleander Drive and competed in a lemon squeezing contest at noon on Friday.

The WFD’s Team Hoses and the NHCSO’s Team Cuffs competed to see who could squeeze a box of lemons the quickest. The Sheriff's Office won the contest.
