WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The 16th Annual Budweiser Wing Fling took place in Carolina Beach Saturday.
Thousands of people attended, and a wing eating contest was held along with a best wings contest.
WECT's Jon Evans won the wing eating contest by devouring 12 wings in one minute and three seconds.
103 seemed to be a key number, as it was hosted by 103.7 FM's Bryan and Jim from The Morning Disaster.
The Wing Fling was organized by business students at UNCW. Proceeds go back to the school and area charities.
