TRAFFIC ALERT: Crews begin work to widen Randall Parkway | Traffic

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Crews in Wilmington are working to widen Randall Parkway from Independence Boulevard to South College Road.

According to a press release from the city, the first phase of the project will involve clearing vegetation to make room for the additional two lanes being added.

Vegetation clearing is expected to take up to four weeks and roadwork is slated to begin in early January.

Drivers in the area should expect delays in the area for the next several weeks.
