Applications accepted for Superintendent's Equity Advisory Committee | News

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) — New Hanover County Schools Superintendent Dr. Tim Markley is reportedly accepting applications for the Superintendent’s Equity Advisory Committee. The announcement was made on the New Hanover County Schools Twitter feed.

The Committee is reportedly designed to give district staff, students, parents and community members an opportunity to address their concerns about equity in all facets of NHCS.  Issues of concern may include curriculum, student services and employment. 

Meetings are expected to take place bi-monthly and will be open to the public.

Applications can be submitted to Stephanie.Baltezegar@nhcs.net no later than June 10.
