Oleander Dr. near Independence Blvd. back open following accident | News
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Oleander Dr., near Independence Blvd., is back open after an accident closed down the roadway Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, the driver of an SUV lost control of his vehicle on Oleander drive, swerved over the median and went through oncoming traffic until he flipped over onto the sidewalk.
The driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Authorities advise drivers to avoid this intersection as traffic is tied up in both directions.
