First baby born at NHRMC in 2013 | News

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Charles Jase Knowles was the first baby born in 2013 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

According to a spokesperson for the hospital, the little guy was born at 5:47 a.m. to mother Heather Knowles.

"The whole process of becoming a mother is
overwhelming, but it's special," said Knowles. "I'm just really blessed and excited to have
this little boy in my life."

The parents had nothing but good things to
say about the staff at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and thank the
employees for their hard work.
