UNCW releases men's basketball schedule | News

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - UNCW will play 14 home dates during the 2012-13 season.

The University released the men's basketball schedule Monday afternoon.

Buzz Peterson's team will open the schedule at home against UNC-Asheville on November 11th before heading out on a three-game road trip against teams who advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season.

The road schedule begins at Richmond before stops at Ohio and Purdue.

The Seahawks begin the conference portion of the schedule January 2nd in Trask Coliseum against Towson.

UNCW's final game of the season is March 2nd at Drexel.

The team is ineligible for the CAA Tournament because of low academic progress scores.
