UNCW IN 12TH AT RIVER LANDING INTERCOLLEGIATE WALLACE, North Carolina – Freshman Dylan Harris (38-34) matched his season-low round, shooting an even-par 72, and is in 14th place overall at the River Landing Intercollegiate after 18 holes on Friday. The Seahawks are in 12th after carding a 314.
Liberty leads the 12-team field by three strokes over ACC schools North Carolina State and Maryland. Robert Karlsson of Liberty is tied with Maryland's Jordan Sweet for the tournament lead at four-under.
The tournament format has changed to 27 holes on Friday and the final 27 on Saturday. Rain in the southeastern area of North Carolina forced the adjustments.
Payne McLeod (37-36=73) leads the Seahawks at one-over and tied for 26th.
Stefan Brewer (T56, 38-39=77), Taylor Zimmerman (T70, 40-40=80) and Joshua Woodfox (76, 42-42=84) round out the starters for UNCW. Thomas Bass was disqualified.
Joining Harris in competing as individuals are Patrick Sawrey (T26, 36-37=73) and Ryan Nagy (T64, 40-39=79).
The tournament concludes on Saturday.
