CAA not invited to BracketBusters | News

RICHMOND, VA (WECT) - According to the League office, the CAA will no longer participate in the BracketBusters event which is put together by ESPN.

UNCW owns a 1-6 record in the BracketBusters which just completed it's tenth season.

The move by ESPN comes after the CAA reached a five-year agreement with the NBC Sports Group that will provide coverage on NBC Sports Network and across the group's regional sports networks.

The agreements begin with the 2012-13 season and runs through 2016-17.

Associate Commissioner of Communications for the CAA, Rob Washburn also said teams will stop playing League games in December beginning in the 2012-13 season.  All Conference games will be played in January and February.
