NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – New Hanover County Commissioner Brian Berger’s home will be sold in a foreclosure auction next week.

The notice, listed as a legal ad in Lumina News, states that Berger and Karyn Crichton are the owners of a home in the 500 block of Commons Way. Crichton is Berger’s ex-girlfriend and an employee of New Hanover County’s planning department. She has not lived at the house for several years.

The sale will take place at the door of the county courthouse at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29 and will sell to the highest bidder, the notice said.
