Chipotle heading to the Port City | Food

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Things could soon get a little more spicy in Wilmington. The Mexican restaurant chain Chipotle filed plans Monday to bring their first location to the Port City.

According to the plans, the restaurant would feature 2,000 square feet at the corner of Oleander and Fordham Drives, near the newly opened Whole Foods.

Chipotle will be the third burrito styled restaurant within two miles of the area, joining Flaming Amy's and Moe's Southwest Grill, also on Oleander Drive.
