NHC Health Dept. to spray for mosquitos
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The New Hanover County Health Department Division of Environmental Health will spray mosquito treatments throughout the county this week.
Health officials will apply treatments between 6 p.m. and 12 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to control adult mosquito populations.
Spraying has been scheduled for the following areas:
Tuesday, September 4
- North 132
- Murrayville
- Carolina Beach
Wednesday, September 5
- Greenville Loop
- Sunset Park/Greenfield Lake
- Kure Beach
- Felmington
- Castle Hayne
Thursday, September 6
- South 421
- Myrtle Grove
- Masonboro
- Wrightsboro
Spraying will be rescheduled in the event of rain. For more information on weekly mosquito spraying, visit nhcgov.com.
