UNCW, Cape Fear Naturalist host free Coastal Shorebird workshop tonight | Environment

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - UNCW and the Cape Fear Naturalist will host a N.C. Coastal Shorebird workshop at Wrightsville Beach on Friday, May 4 at 7 p.m. It will be held at the Fran Russ Recreation Center, located at 1 Bob Sawyer Dr. in Wrightsville Beach Park.

According to a press release, there is a global decline of coastal birds and this workshop will help spread awareness about the local shorebird ecology, identification, and conservation practices.
