Fred Hersch Trio to perform at UNCW Thursday
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Pianist and composer Fred Hersch will be performing Thursday at UNCW along with the Fred Hersch Trio, according to the school’s website.
Hersch, who has been nominated for several Grammy awards, has earned critical acclaim for his music from The New York Times and Vanity Fair, among other media outlets.
He is known for performing both as a solo artist and with his band.
The concert he will be performing in at UNCW is free to the public, and no tickets are required.
It will take place in Beckwith Recital Hall from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
