Renovations near complete for 'Wag 2.0' | Education
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Students at UNCW will be able to enjoy an upgraded cafeteria when classes begin later this month.
Dubbed “Wag 2.0,” renovations to Wagoner Dining Hall include more seating with booths and larger tables in addition to new culinary stations.
In addition to physical upgrades, Wagoner will start using new sustainable plate and cups made of natural bamboo. The new tableware is non-toxic and biodegradable.
According the UNCW Campus Dining Facebook page, the renovations are expected to be finished in time for the dining hall to be open on move-in day, August 18.
