Seahawk athletics to host food drive | Community Spirit

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - UNCW fans can get into games for a discounted price if they donate food items to help replenish the cupboards of the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.

With a donation of two cans of food, fans can attend Wednesday's regular season men's basketball finale with Hofstra for just $5. Fans who donate two cans of food can attend the Feb. 25 UNCW baseball game for $2 or attend Sunday's women's basketball game vs. George Mason on Sunday for $3.

Any fan who contributes five cans of food will automatically entered into a drawing for four tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters on March 18.

In order to receive your discount, the food must be delivered to the UNCW Athletic Ticket Office. The drawing for the Globetrotters' tickets will be held during halftime of Wednesday's game with the Hofstra Pride.
