UNCW alum raising money to enter Comedy Central TV pilot contest | Community Spirit

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A UNCW graduate is directing a pilot for a competition for Comedy Central, but he needs help to be able to make his dream a reality.

Matt Delman, a Film Studies major who graduated in 2011, is directing Aftercare, described on his Kickstarter page as “A workplace comedy that focuses on college-aged counselors who take care of children at an elementary school for the gifted.”

But in order to film the pilot, Delman needs to raise $4,000 through Kickstarter by Feb. 14. The money will go towards cast and crewmembers’ expenses.
