Max. storage capacity reached at electronics recycling event | Community Spirit

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - An electronics recycling that was scheduled to be held through Friday at Your Computer Friends off of Oleander Drive cannot take any more items at this time, according to the business' owner.

Originally, printers, telephones, cell phones, computers, copiers, cables, batteries and fax machines could all be recycled, free of charge.

However, due to the success of the event, organizers say that they have reached their maximum capacity for storage. They have filled a POD unit with three tons of e-waste.

For additional storage, they even rented a U-Haul truck, which is also now full.
