Enjoy great food at the annual Cape Fear Shrimpfest | Community Spirit

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Enjoy food, family and friends at the 5th Annual Cape Fear Shrimpfest June 23.

The event takes place each year at the Cape Fear Presbyterian Church near the corner of Shipyard Blvd. and 17th Street.  The festival features shrimp (of course), local vendors, music, celebrity guests, and special activities for the kids.

Tickets are available at wilmingtontickets.com.  A portion of the money raised will benefit Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard and Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth and Families.

There will be a drive-thru this year for those who are on the move but still want to take part in the event. Deliveries are also available for orders of 20 or more plates.

The event takes place Saturday, June 23 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
