'Make Some Noise for Mentoring' with The Wilmington Leadership foundation | Community Spirit

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT)- The Wilmington Leadership foundation ‘Outside the Walls’ program presents: ‘Make some noise for Mentoring’  Saturday, June 30 at Hugh McRae Park.

The Wilmington Leadership foundation wants you to help the community and become a mentor for children in our area. They are looking for adults to volunteer and mentor at least one hour a week for one year, or more.

This event starts at 10 a.m. and will last until 3 p.m. According to the press release, their goal is to reach 100 new volenteers.   If you are interested, please come out and sign up to mentor and get involved in the community.
