WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The annual Greek Festival will kick off in Wilmington Friday, promising good food music and fun for another year.
Organizers have made it even easier for anyone who wants a sample of the traditional Greek cuisine. The festival will now feature a drive thru options. You can stay in your car and still get taste all of the wonderful food.
“How many people have actually gone by the festival, smelled the aroma in the air of everything cooking and said, ‘I wish I had time to park at K-mart and come over with the shuttle, but I just don't have time?’ We made that time convenient for you," said organizer Basile Katsikis.
The Greek Festival will take place all weekend long starting at noon Friday at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church on South College Road.
