WILMINGTON (WECT) - If you are interested in helping homeless animals this Christmas there is a way you can do that.

The Sunburst Foundation will be holding a pet food drive on Saturday, Dec. 24 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the PetSupermarket on Oleander Drive in Wilmington.

Foster dog Remington will be stationed out in front accepting donations. The biggest need is for dog food and dog treats. The proceeds from this drive will go to help fosters at Sunburst Foundation and the cats and dogs of Pender County Animal Control.

Also Remington is still homeless and hoping that maybe after the Holiday rush he will find his "furever" home.
