Companies seek potential employers at UNCW job fair | Business

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Hundreds of students from UNCW will suit up Wednesday afternoon to meet potential employers at the university's internship and job fair.

The unemployment rate is steadily improving, and the UNCW Career Center is hopeful there will be a brighter outlook for students at this semester's fair.

Dozens of companies from a wide variety of industries will be recruiting at the event, including WECT.

According to a press release, students who attend the fair will receive a free professional headshot to use for networking and on their social media accounts.

The job fair will be in the Burney Center, 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
