Leutze to chair regional council for local food bank | Business
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Dr. Jim Leutze is joining the Wilmington Branch Regional Council of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina as Chairman.
Dr. Leutze, the former chancellor of UNC Wilmington, will work with members of the food bank and local community leaders in this new position.
Last fiscal year, the food bank handed out more than 4.8 million pounds of food to more than 90 partners in Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover and Pender Counties.
